We specialize in recreating that 80's sound live and throw in a taste of new music to take audiences on a journey like no other. Playing everything from Duran Duran, Flock of Seagulls, The Cars, and Billy Idol to Justin Timberlake and some of todays new music. Plastic is a five piece band made up of professional musicians with years of live performing experience in every type of establishment and venue. When other bands are playing the same music as the next, Plastic gives you a unique and fun crowd pleasing musical experience for your audience. Here is a brief history of the members of Plastic.
Jonny Kruse - Lead Vocals - Jon brings years of singing experience to Plastic. The former singer of the group Hippy Jett later pursued a career in Nashville lending his talents to becoming a studio singer working with the likes of Mickey Mcmahan of Broadway musical fame. Jon's energy on stage and commitment to performing the song as close to the origional is one reason of Plastics success.
Donny Goldberg - Bass/Vocals
Donny brings his experience and talents to the mix with his intense and aggressive style and allows Plastic to recreate everything from Duran Duran to Linkin Park. playing with some of the best musicians in the area and beyond.
Michael Henige – Guitar/Vocals
a seasoned vetran of the STL/midwest music scene having toured with several popular bands such as The Ultraviolets, MindOverSoul and London Calling to name a few, as well as perfoming and recording with members of national recording act Shooting Star.
Phil Minardi - Keyboards - Phil is a renowned song writer and producer playing with and touring with such artist as Marty Balin of Jefferson Airplane/Starship fame. Phil's recreation of 80's music is next to none and his live performances make you feel the New Wave experience with incredible sounds and talent. Phil's ability to recreate individual artist signature sounds are the heart of Plastic's live sound and allow the band to play songs most cannot duplicate.
Matt Johnson – Drums
Compared to the stylings of Stuart Copeland, Matt adds a style like no other to the dynamic sound of Plastic. Performing is Matt's passion and it has shown in his past musical projects in St. Louis.
